Ethan's 1st deer!
Gordon and the boys went hunting this past weekend! Yes, I said HUNTING!! They were in the dark, in the woods with animals and guns! Not a good combination if you ask me -- but no one did!
OK -- this is how this went down! Ethan, Will and Justin were in the woods and Will said "Justin, there are deer behind us" and he turned and there were 3 deer standing there. He then shot 2 of them with 1 bullet and then let Ethan "finish" off one and Will "finish" off the other. Gordon shot one, but could not find it! (There is some justice in the world) No I am not going to have a deer head on my wall (I am having visions of Uncle Buck), but we are going to eat it! We do love some deer sausage! YUMMY! And, if you have ever had a sausage ball made with deer meat -- you would never want the original ones! (Thanks to my dear friend Ashley!!)
They did have the time of their lives though. Both boys have asked for a gun for Christmas! Uh....let me think about it.......NO! Not in this lifetime! Santa does not bring violent weapons!
